Iron and Blood

The Iron Kingdom: a half-mythical land conquered by barbarians an age ago, celebrated in song and legend. Here is a land of contrasts as beauty and savagery collide. The north-men, now savages no more, struggle to leave their brutal past behind as they strive to become more civilized and find peace. Yet, it remains a land of conflict ruled over by the Iron King, a mighty ruler, who is himself something of a legend.

The king has grown old and the sun is setting on the days of his saga. Shadows grow long in the south, and Lord Garyth, a nobleman of doubtful lineage and agent of the crown is returning home. A celebrated warrior within the Iron Kingdom, Garyth is eager to get back to his home and family. However, he has discovered a shadowy plot that threatens the kingdom. Countless orcs gather under one banner in the mountains, their hungry eyes looking north, while worse creatures join them. War looms on the horizon, as some dark will seems to watch on in ravenous anticipation. To survive, the men of iron must once again fight against a seemingly overwhelming tide of darkness. This fight is not for land or wealth, this battle will be for their very survival.

Iron and Stone

Winter has given way to spring and open war has descended upon the realm of the Iron Kingdom.  Seemingly unstoppable, the orc horde has cut a swathe of destruction throughout the land.  There have been heroes already, but even the valiant efforts of the Third Army have failed to do more than slow the bloodthirsty orcs relentless advance.  Refugees flee their homes before the merciless orcs, making their way to Vakiun, capitol of the kingdom, hoping to find safety. 

The Iron King marshals his host, calling on every available warrior to fight for the very survival of their people.  Meanwhile, in the Kingdom of Stone, the dwarves, ancient allies of the Iron Kingdom prepare to honor their ancient oaths.  All eyes look to a titanic confrontation such as has not seen for an age.  Watching all that transpires, the malevolent force that has engineered these terrible events, looks on in ravenous anticipation.

Iron and Shadow

  

Shadows coil around the lands of men, seeking to snuff out the light that remains. In the Iron Kingdom, old wounds are broken open as the land seeks to heal itself. Rebellion rears its ugly head, while the nation recovers from its most savage war in recorded history. The Iron King, seeming less a man, and more a figure from legend, seeks vengeance and further war, while those around him doubt the future that such wars will bring. 


The orcs, though defeated, are far from finished, and rallying anew, seek further destruction. Their hunger for bloodshed seemingly undiminished, the savage creatures rally once more, while in the south, ancient machinations come to light, undermining the very fabric of proud realms that have stood for a thousand years or more. The alien and unknowable designs of the Hidden One finally begin to come to light and a plan that spans the ages begins to take shape.


It is a time of great upheaval and great valor. A time when anything is possible and forgotten magics reshape what is possible. Only in the darkest dreams of draconian minds can such events be imagined, and the world will never be the same.
